Our Crowdfunding Groups
Over spring break, the 10 of us traveled to Chicago to support the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace and the issue of domestic violence. This was an incredibly impactful, educational, and important experience for all of us! Domestic violence is a widespread societal problem that affects so many different individuals, and we were so grateful to be able to partner with an amazing organization that is aiming to stop the problem at its source.
While in Chicago, we assisted this organization in all capacities (office work, cleaning, and designing promotional materials) and also developed a greater fundamental understanding of domestic violence through various educational experiences, including observing at a domestic violence court and learning from the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Womens' Network.
We are asking for $1000 to help supplement the cost of our travel to and accommodations in Chicago, and any donation would be incredibly appreciated!
