CGA Graduate Scholarship
The NYU School of Professional Studies Center for Global Affairs (CGA) is one of the most exciting and dynamic global programs to emerge on the NYU landscape: a program where the latest global trends and critical issues are examined and vigorously debated in the classroom and at public events; a program where individuals of diverse backgrounds and nationalities come together to explore how to make our world a better and more just place; a program that embraces a world where diplomacy and global transactions occur in a 21st-century milieu comprised of state and non-state actors.
The mission is straightforward: to create a community of global citizens capable of changing the world. The MS in Global Affairs program; the new MS in Global Conflict, Security, and Cybercrime; year-round continuing-education program; and provocative public events series combine to create an environment where everyone with an interest in global affairs can find a place to contribute and learn.
Dr. Vera Jelinek, Divisional Dean at CGA, has generously donated $10,000 to jump start the CGA Graduate Scholarship. The scholarship fund shall be endowed and used to provide tuition support to graduate students at CGA based on need and merit in perpetuity.
