Welcome!
NYU created a first-of-its-kind impact investment fund (NIIF), a unique program that unites students from the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Stern School of Business, and Law School, to provide experiential learning by managing every stage of an impact investment fund. NIIF is a student-led, student-run impact investment fund whereby students gain hands-on experience by managing and advising an impact fund, and ultimately, investing in an innovative social enterprise.
NYU’s Impact Investment Fund is disrupting the way investments are made. By investing in entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses that have a socially-based mission, you are helping facilitate social change. Supporting NIIF is providing the opportunity for NYU students to become leaders of future social change and we need people like you who want to support a new generation’s opportunity to pioneer impact investment.

Impact investing is one of the most disruptive financial tools for social good. NYU is at the forefront of building and preparing future leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators with a program that both educates and funds social change-makers. Will you join us to create a future of social change?
Donations to NYU for the NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) will be used to support this program, through which students will have the opportunity to learn about impact investing by doing it. As part of this program, NYU makes contributions to a designated NIIF account at a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) – currently Impact Assets, Inc., a Maryland non-profit corporation – over which NIIF has advisory privileges. Following its research into several identified sectors and potential investments within them, NIIF will recommend that the DAF make specific investments in the NIIF account that meet NIIF’s criteria. NIIF will monitor investment performance and, from time to time, will recommend distributions from the NIIF account to charities (other than NYU) that support or otherwise seek to advance the goals of impact investing.
