Only 22 Days Left to Donate!

May 09, 2022

As the spring 2022 semester comes to a close, we’d like to take a moment to extend a sincere thank you to all who have donated since our last update: Kentaro Yamashita, Hussein Ibrahim, Laura Solia Shelby, and Sepideh Behzadpour. Your contributions mean the world to us.

We spent our last class session at Brooklyn Bridge Park, where we relaxed, shared a meal, and spent one final time reflecting together on the journey it took to reach this point as well as the journeys that still lie ahead of us.

Thank you all so much for choosing to support the next generation of peacebuilders. Your donations are so deeply appreciated. We encourage you to keep spreading the word about this campaign to help us reach our goal of $2,700 by June 1st, 2022.

Almost halfway to our goal!

April 07, 2022

Hello everyone,

We have less than a month until our finals week! We are currently in the classroom, engaging with our partners on the projects that we will be working on, and preparing ourselves for departure.

We want to thank everyone who has donated before, and we want to thank all our new donors. Thank you to Melissa Salyk-Virk, Stevin Azo Michels, Nada Elrhalami, and Leslie Archambeault

We are SO CLOSE to halfway to our goal. As we recognize everyone who has contributed so far and remain extremely grateful for all those who have shown us support, we want to ask everyone to keep sharing our page with your networks! All the support helps as we start to plan our travel arrangements.

Thank you again!

Thank you to our first project donors!

March 25, 2022

The Workshop in Applied Peacebuilding students are all back in the classroom following our spring break. Our conversations have centered around effective dialogue, active listening, and relationship-building with our teams and partners at home and abroad.

As we head into working on our Project Proposals, the beginnings of what will become our summer projects, we want to take a minute to thank all of those who have donated already.

Thank you to Kimberly Hatton, Dan Bollerman, Katie Dobosz Kenney, Karin Attia, Love Odih Kumuyi, and our anonymous donors for starting us out on such a strong note.

We are so thankful for all of the support already shown to our class. While we are highly excited for what's to come this summer, the present contributions from the NYU community and beyond do not go unnoticed. Thank you again!
