The ALLIES FOR ARTS ACCESS campaign will provide FREE tickets to young adults, ages 15-25, to NYU Skirball performances in 2024. Enhancing access, serving diverse audiences, and increasing the affordability of events for young people are all priorities being met through this impactful program. Doug Varone and Dancers, Photo by Erin BaianoThis year, we are partnering with local nonprofit organizations throughout NYC that serve diverse populations with a focus on BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities, such as Callen-Lorde, The Ali Forney Center, The Door, Hetrick-Martin Institute, and the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. We, NYU students and alumni, are raising funds to provide young people served by those local nonprofit organizations with free tickets and access to performing arts events throughout 2024. Giving back is a big part of NYU culture and we want to provide neighboring communities with the same opportunities we experience. Performances include:

Our goal is for young people to experience the educational, creative benefits, and supportive environment that live art fosters. It is our sincere wish that this project provides young adults with an opportunity to experience something meaningful, moving, challenging, and inspiring together.
