NYU One Day, our annual day of giving, is Thursday, March 28, 2019. On this day, the entire NYU community - alumni, parents, students, faculty, administrators, staff, and friends - joins together in support of our students. We have a goal of reaching 4,000 gifts in just 24 hours and we need your help!
The New York University Alumni Association has established the NYUAA Debra LaMorte Scholarship Fund in the pioneering spirit on which NYU was founded on: a school of opportunity that opened its doors to people from all classes and backgrounds. In conjunction with the affordability initiatives set forth by the University, this scholarship will support NYU students – the world’s future leaders - who might not otherwise be able to attend the University and take advantage of all that NYU has to offer.
The NYU Alumni Association intends to continue NYU’s tradition of transforming lives by ensuring affordability of college with this need-based scholarship, which will be awarded annually to two undergraduate students. These students will be descendants of NYU alumni or from underrepresented groups.
An NYU education provides the opportunity to shape future leaders and build our global community. The NYUAA Debra LaMorte Scholarship Fund helps to make attending NYU financially affordable and instill the values we cherish as members of the NYU Alumni Association.
