Dear Friends,
Due to the suspension of NYU Skirball events as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) affecting New York City and the surrounding region, #RepresentationMatters2020 will be on hold until further notice. When events begin moving forward as originally scheduled, hopefully within the coming weeks, NYU Skirball will continue our efforts to bring under-served LGBTQ+ youth to experience the impact of live performance.
We are deeply grateful to you for your support - we have raised 75% of our goal! These funds will be used to send teens and young adults to NYU Skirball events throughout our late Spring/early Fall 2020 seasons. More information will follow as updates become available. In the meantime, NYU has created a webpage to provide information on how the University is responding to current events.
Thank you again for your generous support and for helping NYU students and alums give back to the community through this important program. Experiencing live performance leaves impressions that last long after leaving the theater and we thank you for helping make a difference in young people's lives. We look forward to bringing youth from HMI and the LGBT Center to shows again soon.
