NYU Student Emergency Relief 2020

Support the NYU Emergency Relief Fund to help mitigate the financial impacts of COVID-19 on NYU students.

NYU Student Emergency Relief 2020

Join the NYU community's response to COVID-19

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we are acting rapidly to reduce the spread of the virus and to ensure the safety of our students.

The NYU community - our alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and parents - are asking how they can support students during this uncertain time. This quickly shifting situation has placed new and unexpected financial burdens on many of our students. With this in mind, the NYU Emergency Relief Fund was created to support students facing financial hardships and unexpected costs related to:

  • Academic supplies
  • Internet access and technology expenses
  • Other expense associated with the inaccessibility of university facilities and services

When you support the NYU Emergency Relief Fund, 100% of your gift will be put to use immediately to benefit students. Your donation goes directly to providing NYU COVID-19 Relief Grants. If your situation allows, please consider making a gift of any size to help bridge the gap for students in need.

As a gesture of support to our student community in this time, President Andrew Hamilton and his wife Jennie will personally match every dollar given to this fund, up to $75,000. They hope you will consider joining them in this effort.
