Help us create a free and accessible hub for hospitality news, opinions and insights

The Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality plans to launch the Hospitality Insights Hub as a central information source for news and research in hotel, restaurant, event and tourism management. The Hub will feature news articles and opinion pieces written by Tisch Center faculty, alumni, students and industry partners, focusing on local as well as global issues affecting our industries.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost every aspect of life, but few sectors have been harder hit than hospitality, events, travel and tourism. At a time when many professionals in these industries are affected by furloughs, lay offs and reduced incomes, detailed and specialized industry news is of great importance, but is often only accessible via paid subscriptions. The Tisch Center Hospitality Insights Hub will create a reliable and free source of rigorous industry data and expert opinions for professionals, students and faculty.

The online platform will feature applied research projects, news stories, opinion pieces and curated data updates, and will share these with a broad audience, in an accessible format. This initiative will also showcase the Tisch Center’s thought leadership in the industry and our research fields. Your contribution will help us hire an expert to develop a multimedia platform for this effort, that will be designed professionally and will incorporate best practices in inclusive and accessible web design. Featuring global perspectives, in-depth analyses and articles written by our expert community, we envision the Hospitality Insights Hub as a vital information source, an inclusive resource for encouraging networking via our social media channels, and a solidification of the Tisch Center’s position as a leader in the field.
