We are a new and fast-growing team of students hungry to prove our engineering talent at DJI's annual RoboMaster Competition.
We've so far placed consistently in the top 5 at each event we've attended!
Since it was established in 2013 by Da-Jiang Innovations (DJI), the RoboMaster program has been a platform for robotic competitions and academic exchange. Each year the main event attracts thousands of in person attendees and over 2 million online viewers.
As a new team, we have less than a year to build a set of up to nine state-of-the-art specialized robots. These bots vary from autonomous machines guided exclusively by our complex machine vision and AI subsystems to tele-op eSports champions with our drivers. Our team members are able to work at NYU's Maker Garage, performing tasks such as design review, fabrication, programming, and testing these amazing machines.
You contribution will go straight into materials to allow our underdog team to measure up against the 100s of other universities participating in this competition. To be on the cutting edge, it would be in our favor to have industry-level machine vision cameras, custom made PCBs, better onboard computers, etc.
As a team we believe that STEM should be exciting and competitive like a sport, And we strive to not only create a tight-knit team, but also help the community, volunteering our time with FIRST robotics teams and events.
Thank you for your consideration!
