The Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation (OGI) provides expert consultation, resources, and innovative strategies to help guide the University—and its uniquely global and diverse student, faculty, staff, administrator, and alumni communities—toward a more inclusive future. Your donations will support specific university efforts that span NYU’s global network and will help us to advance a university-wide culture of global inclusion, diversity, belonging, equity, and access (GIDBEA).
This university-wide initiative builds on the momentum of the NYUWomxn100 year-long commemoration and continues to center the leadership and legacies of women from all backgrounds, disciplines, and fields whose innovations and contributions have been historically marginalized. Your contributions would support the development of programs and research focused on the transformative leadership of women at NYU and beyond.
Your contributions will support the Center for Multicultural Education and Programs (CMEP) to expand—in scope and reach—leadership programs (including mentorship) that center on the experiences of historically marginalized student communities.
A component of the NYU BeTogether university-wide initiative, these microgrants are designed to provide seed funding for inclusive research and innovation projects that deepen scholarship focused on global, interdisciplinary, and cross-sector, data-driven research centered on the intersections of systemic and systematic oppression of historically marginalized communities. Your contributions will allow faculty to work together across disciplines and fields and to collaborate with both graduate and undergraduate students on globally inclusive interdisciplinary research projects.
Disability inclusive culture is an expanding area and OGI continues its work with faculty and staff to foster inclusive and equitable academic experiences for all students. We continue to expand and strategically focus on specific areas such as disability inclusion, neurodiversity, access, and culture with partners across the University. Your contributions would support the development of toolkits, technologies, educational programs, and related resources for NYU faculty and staff as OGI continues to deepen its work in this area.
In honor of 25 years of the Center’s existence, your contributions will support:
