Our Mission
“Even a Smile is a Charity” is a non-profit dental student run organization dedicated to providing access to dental care to underprivileged communities in NYC.
Community Impact
“Even a Smile is a Charity” will collaborate with NYU College of Dentistry in order to refine the world class care already given to patients, however, reducing the financial burden on patients who are in dire need of care. The emphasis of this patient care will be tailored to multifaceted procedures that are generally not covered by insurance and the patient would have to pay out of pocket for these procedures. The financial support from NYU MDA alumni sponsors will remove the burden of financial obligations for the patients.
Student Impact
Through these donations, students will receive the opportunity to enhance their clinical experience as well as engage in public service by providing care. This will be advantageous for both patients and student because it will positively impact the patients oral health and aid in shaping the student into a competent practitioner.

Your gift will help us start by giving initial exams to patients and brining awareness to the importance of oral healthcare.
Your gift will help us pay for simple restorative procedures (composite & amalgam) as well as extraction of diseased teeth. It will help us create a foundation for patients that need the most emergent care.
Your gift will cover additional needs for the patient and cover multi-step procedures, which will give them a better foundation in understanding the importance of oral healthcare.
Your gift will allow us to do procedures that are generally not covered (i.e. crowns/root canals) for patients and will reduce the out of pocket cost for them.
Your gift will give us the ability to do complex procedures and restore patients confidence, health, and overall well-being.
