The NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) is a first-of-its-kind, student-run impact investment fund. Launched in 2019, this experiential program unites a diverse group of students from the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, NYU Stern School of Business, and NYU Abu Dhabi. NIIF provides students an opportunity to experience the full life cycle of an impact investment and acts as a springboard for placing emerging professionals in impact investing roles globally.
Each year, NIIF executes an investment into an impact enterprise, entirely led by student teams with support from Faculty Advisors from NYU Wagner and NYU Stern. As such, NIIF furthers a dual goal: investment support for an enterprise, and a unique learning experience for future impact investing leaders.
NIIF relies on donations like yours, which are then invested and, as the investments mature, are then recycled through future impact investments. You can find our current investments and Annual report with the link below.
Reaching our goal of raising $30,000 will enable us to sustain the fund for future cohorts of diverse students committed to high-impact enterprises.
NYU proudly leads the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators through this comprehensive program. We invite you to join our mission and contribute to mobilizing the capital for the greater good.

New York University (NYU) is a designated nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to NYU for the NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
NYU will provide an electronic charitable gift acknowledgement to the donor.
As part of this program, NYU makes contributions to a designated NIIF account at a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) – currently Impact Assets, Inc., a Maryland non-profit corporation – over which NIIF has advisory privileges. Following its research into several identified sectors and potential investments within them, NIIF will recommend that the DAF make specific investments in the NIIF account that meet NIIF’s criteria. NIIF will monitor investment performance and, from time to time, will recommend distributions from the NIIF account to charities (other than NYU) that support or otherwise seek to advance the goals of impact investing.
