Welcome to NYU RoboMaster!

We are a new and fast-growing team of students hungry to prove our engineering talent at Da-Jiang Innovation's (DJI) annual RoboMaster Competition. Since it was established in 2013 founded by DJI, the RoboMaster program has been a platform for robotic competitions and academic exchange. Each year the main event attracts thousands of attendees, and the broadcast got over 1.95 million online viewers.

Over the summer of 2021, we made our debut at the RoboMaster North American Series and placed 3rd in the league!

Then, we competed in the RoboMaster University League North America Lone Star Competition 2022 and won 4th place!

Most recently, we placed 5th at RoboMaster North America 2023!

Going forwards, we plan to build a set of five state-of-the-art specialized robots. These bots are mostly driven remotely by our team, but also incorporate complex machine vision and AI subsystems. Our mechanical and electrical subteam members mainly work at NYU's Maker Garage, while other subteams like computer vision and embedded complete tasks in NYU's Game Innovation Lab (or anywhere on Earth).

Your contribution will go straight into materials to allow our underdog team to measure up against the hundreds of other universities participating in this competition. To be on the cutting edge, it would be in our favor to have industry-level machine vision cameras, custom-made printable circuit boards (PCBs), better onboard computers, etc.

As a team, we believe that STEM should be exciting and competitive like a sport! We strive to not only create a tight-knit team but also help the community, volunteering our time with FIRST robotics teams and events.

Thank you for your consideration!
