For our final "Meet the Lab," we have Diana Mora, a researcher in our lab and the team leader of the Healthcare Access team. Diana will presenting our lab's research on sex workers' medical experiences and access to quality healthcare. Diana will be presenting at at FIGO, an international obstetrics and gynecology conference that will be held in Brazil this year. This research will also be shared at another conference, ISTSS, which is held in Washington, D.C..

Our next installment of "Meet the Lab" features our Associate Director of Research, Sonya Chemouni Bach, who was also a post-bacc here at New York University. She will be presenting our research on the perceptions that the patients at the Program for Survivors of Torture here in New York have about female genital cutting. She will be presenting at FIGO, an international obstetrics and gynecology conference that will be held in Brazil this year.

Dr. Ades is the Principal Investigator at Empower Lab, and she has been the guiding light in helping us to conduct such important research and present it at such prestigious conferences as ISTSS and FIGO.

Our next installment of "Meet the Lab" features our Associate Director of Research, Nicole Acero, who is also an undergraduate student here at New York University. She will be presenting our research on Sugar Dating at FIGO, an international obstetrics and gynecology conference that will be held in Brazil this year.

This is our first installment of "Meet the Lab!" Brian Goddard is a medical student at New York University and is also a research assistant at our lab. Brian will be representing our lab at FIGO and presenting our research regarding healthcare access for survivors of sex trafficking.
