Rogue Aerospace is NYU’s flagship rocketry team. We design and build rockets to compete in nationwide initiatives held by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Founded in 2017, Rogue Aerospace has grown into a dynamic team of engineers who work nonstop to propel our rockets to success.
Rogue Aerospace has been the top-runner in NASA-held competitions across various categories. Our rocket designs have won first and second place in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative, and we've recently expanded into the Launch Division.
Rogue Aerospace is the launchpad for the next generation of aerospace engineers at NYU. From computer modeling to field tests, creating award-winning rockets requires our team members to be equipped with industry-level materials and skills. Not only do we provide hands-on and rigorous training to our members, but we also look to inspire students’ interest in STEM through our outreach program with local K-12 schools. Our alumni have graduated from Rogue to bright internships and job opportunities in engineering, technology, finance, and more.
This year, we are looking to fly higher than ever before. We are competing in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative while expanding our program to reach more students at NYU and beyond. You can help fuel our journey this year by making a donation of any amount. Your donation will help cover the cost of designing and building rockets, fund our travel expenses to compete in the NASA launch in Alabama and support our daily operations.
